Refund policy

Returns

RIVA New York has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return. This window begins on the day your item/s is/are delivered.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at rdoudak@rivanewyork.com (for security purposes, please use the same e-mail address that you used when you placed the order.) If your item/s is/are eligible for a return, you will be sent a shipping label in PDF, ready to be printed. Simply print the return label and affix it to the box. You will also be given instructions on how and where to send your return package. It is important to note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please ship your order back to us in all original RIVA New York packaging. If that is not possible, we advise you to use packaging equivalent or smaller than the original packaging. RIVA New York reserves the right to deny a return that lacks to follow our guidelines. We don’t want that to happen so please read through the requirements thoroughly.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue ASAP and take corrective action.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 3-7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. (For orders that are cancelled within 24 hours of order placement, a refund is processed within 24 hours of you reaching out to us to cancel.)

International Returns/Exchanges & Customs Fees

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, and fees are determined by each country’s regulations and may change without notice. While we do our best to provide accurate guidance at the time of purchase, these charges are set by local customs authorities and are outside of our control.

If an international order is returned to us, any import duties, customs fees, or carrier charges incurred during the return process will be deducted from the final refund amount. No additional return fee will be charged directly to the customer.

We recommend checking with your local customs office prior to ordering if you are unsure about potential charges.
