What is Titanium?
Titanium is a durable, lightweight, and hypoallergenic metal widely used in jewelry for its strength, resistance to tarnish, and corrosion. Known for its sleek, modern appearance, titanium is ideal for pieces meant to last a lifetime and is fully recyclable, able to be reprocessed without losing its integrity. Titanium can also be anodized to create a range of vibrant colors. Through an electrical current, an oxide layer forms on the surface, refracting light to produce different hues without affecting the metal's durability or hypoallergenic properties—making it both functional and visually striking.
Is this item available in sterling silver?
We will not be making our double-flared tunnels for stretched ears in sterling silver. While sterling silver is safe to wear in fully-healed stretched ears, experts we have consulted with do not recommend it for extended wear. We want you to be able to wear our double-flared tunnels for longer than short term, which is why we decided to make them in nickel-free 14K yellow gold, one of the two most hypoallergenic metals for piercings. We are excited to announce that we now offer these tunnels in titanium, a lightweight, hypoallergenic, and highly durable material perfect for extended wear.
Are these tunnels OK to use on freshly stretched ears?
We kindly advise against wearing these tunnels until your ears have fully healed from the stretching process. It is advisable to wait for a period of up to six (6) weeks before using these double-flared tunnels or any other similar plugs in your ears. During the healing phase, we suggest opting for single-flared tunnels in titanium, which are more suitable for this stage.

After months of experimenting, we are thrilled to launch our Titanium Tunnel collection. Body-safe and sleek, these tunnels are available in 3 stunning colors: Titanium Gray, Ice Blue, and Purple. Each tunnel is hand anodized by our jewelry manufacturing experts. Anodizing is a process where an electric current is applied to the titanium, enhancing its surface to reflect light in stunning, vibrant colors.
